Aw, I'm a fan of both HIGNFY and Mock the Week. They have changed a bit, but after so many years that's just how it is.

I do think it's funny that some fanboys are still complaining about Frankie leaving, especially any time topics like Brexit come up. There's a certain subset of people who don't seem to realise that Frankie is actually a lot more liberal than they think.

Haha you are so right about Frankie. I live in Scotland so it's funny seeing so many "fans" upset about his stance on Scottish independence and I'm like really, you didn't see this coming? Not to mention his being against racism and being sexist and generally against being an arsehole surprises people.

I won't lie, his comedy has some bad spots but overall he seems to have grown into a person who hates injustice.

Haha, yes. Frankie makes offensive jokes, but even back when he was on MTW it was clear that he was pretty left-leaning. But the arseholes of the internet only heard that one joke about the Queen and elevated him to some brave martyr fighting against the liberal agenda.

Jimmy Carr gets it too, but to a lesser degree from what I see.

The fact that Jimmy Carr owned his tax fuck up and basically let everyone else let rip into him tells me that he's certainly not the "anti-PC" establishment figure some people desperately want him to be. He could've doubled down on "I was 100% right to do this!" but he didn't, which is one of the things that made me re-think my overall view of him.

I can't believe there's anyone who doesn't realize Frankie is pretty damn lefist?

So many people! Half the comments on any MTW video on YouTube seem to be made up of people who don't seem to get it.

Frankie's offensive jokes just draw the arseholes in, I guess.
