I didn't know fandom existed on Twitter. I'm just there for politics.

Same same same. I can't even really picture fandom on Twitter.

Yeah, that always seemed super weird to me, too. For the past two months, though, I have been spending time in Twitter fandom. I just followed a link to a nice image, and discovered a whole new fandom culture. Which was actually pretty interesting! By now I get why and how people do fandom on Twitter, and I'm even actively taking part sometimes.

Most of Tumblr's communities, fandom and otherwise, tried migrating to other sites when porn got banned. To varying degrees of success.

I've seen it said that Tumblr banning porn is the worst thing to happen to Twitter.

HA. Twitter is a bit of a cess-pit in a lot of ways, so I'm not sure if it's the *worst*....

I haven't been to the New Tumblr at all, is anyone over there?

There's definitely people still there. I don't know that much about it because I remade a while ago and try to keep my dash activity down these days.

I actually moved my Tumblr over there when it first started, but - as with Tumblr - the whole site is slow (for me) and tends to make my computer unhappy and slow, so I gave up on it. I haven't been to Tumblr in months and months.
