Uhm, did you look at the secret or did you just see "judge" and "hetalia" in the same sentence?

lol I thought that other people had covered the concept of "a couple stupid requests on the kink meme is not representative of the entire fandom" and didn't want to beat a dead horse, but I guess I should've beat said dead horse? Sorry for not being thorough with my rant, but my position still stands. So ONE Hetalia fan requested something fucked up in the kink meme. I suppose that means we're all awful people with no respect, right? No.

It seems what we have here is a failure to communicate. You posted "Stick up your asses" in response to someone saying "rape of nanking porn is kind of fucked up what the hell internet." Ergo, I assumed you were defending said request.

...no, that's *not* what the secret is. The text is "I secretly judge Hetalia fans". Yes, there is a screencap of a dumbass request. However, The secret does NOT single out that request and the like. It uses it as an example and then broadens the statement to "all Hetalia fans are like this". My point was that the request does not relate to the actual series, is a confined case, and is an absurd reason to hate us.

It's called an exaggeration to make a point.

That's exactly what the secret is, you dipshit. It's saying that OP judges Hetalia fans based on those fucked up requests. Replying 'lol, stick up your ass!' is the same as saying that those requests are not fucked up and OP is just being over-sensitive.

And it is saying that OP judges ALL Hetalia fans AT LEAST because of a few fans' dumbassery, but possibly for other reasons as well =/. And did I say "OP HAS A STICK UP HIS/HER ASS!"? No. I said "Hetalia haters have sticks up their asses". Which implies that I don't JUST think the OP does, and other Hetalia haters don't necessarily have the same reason.

I haven't read it, but the fic itself is apparently not pornish and actually gives the issue a grim and tasteful treatment. Still don't think they should have posted it in response to a kink meme request, and God knows what the requester was thinking.

I have read it, it isn't pornish and is very grim, and yes, I do agree with you on the last part. Then again, would it have been written if not for the kink meme? Probably not.
