Is there any new media coming out that you have started watching or are planning on starting?


Really want to try the pilots of Lovecraft Country and Raised by Wolves this weekend. If I like the pilots I'll watch further, especially Lovecraft Country, which I fully expect to love. Raised by Wolves I wasn't expecting, but the concept is intriguing so I'll give it a try.

I started watching Warrior Nun, it's quite a ridiculous concept but I'm liking most of the characters and I'm interested to see how the story turns out even though pretty much all of the plot points are telegraphed very obviously. Tbh that's part of the charm: it makes for an easy watch that isn't stressful to engage with.

And on a shallow note: hot ladies running about in combat habits is very appealing, pretty sure that's blasphemy on some lvl but oh well.

I finished the third season of Aggretsuko. I liked it more than the second season, but wow did it go to some unexpected places.

It's going to be a while, but I'm pretty happy they're making another series of Ragnarok.

I'm insanely excited for the second series of His Dark Materials. They've already laid some of the Subtle Knife foundation so we're leaping straight into Citagazze. The first series was awesome so I'm hoping for good things! The Will they cast is utterly perfect.

I am visiting my sister with my nephew. We made pizza tonight and plan on grilling tomorrow. I am already exhausted. My nephew is so tiring.

Tomorrow I have an appointment to get my allergy cluster shots at 8:30. Will take my parents car. Then at 11 I have an appointment to get a new tire on my car since I hit a pothole on the highway yesterday and ruined one of my tires.

I'm definitely going to nap tomorrow once I get back. I need to clean my room at some point this weekend.

Other than that, relaxing. Enjoying the long weekend. Spending time with kitty. Watching some tv. Lovecraft Country. Raised by Wolves. And then possibly some Star Trek Original Series.

I'm gonna attempt to turn my house into an ice box because it's gonna be around a 115 degrees. I may go out super early to get breakfast to go from my favorite cafe, but that'll be it.

After a 50h week and a successful discussion with my boss about my salary, i am now officially on holiday!!
Saturday is my birthday (yay! gonna get cake!) and "unf*ck my apartment" day, bc on sunday i leave for vacation. nothing extravagant, just a week with my bestie on the north sea coast! (all covid appropriate)
