I must be more tired than I thought. Thanks!

Wait, do people not normally feel pain in dreams?

Some people do, some don't. Same with other senses like smell, touch, taste. Some of us just dream more vividly than others. Personally I've always had super vivid dreams, though I'm also a lucid dreamer so I'm usually aware I'm dreaming unless it is a really bad nightmare. But other people I know say they barely remember dreams when they are over and don't get much in the way of senses other than sight.

I'm so sorry, OP. Depression nightmares are the worst. Mine usually involve people I care about telling me they hate me, I've failed, that I won't succeed at anything, or I'm not good enough. A few times they've involved my cat dying because I forgot about her or let her get hurt. Those nightmares end up effecting me for days after.

I do have torture dreams, but those aren't nightmares and are related to my fantasies of being a hero enduring torture to save people.

I hope your nightmares go away, your anti-depressent keeps working and you don't miss any more days, and that you just are okay mentally and continue to be okay.

I'm actually scared to know the answer to this but - how does that guy die?

It’s called a reverse bear trap. If it snaps open, it forces your jaw open to a lethal angle. The villain who uses them allows you a chance to find keys to get them off, but the boxes with the keys in them are booby-trapped with sharpened glass and gears and such to hurt your hands while you search. (This is all game canon.)

DA - Was this part of the original game or did it come specifically with the Saw DLC? It’s a murder machine so specific to those movies, it’s weird to know it’s being used in other franchises now.

Saw DLC. The specific character who uses it is a Saw villain.

From what I understand that was used in a Saw movie. Never saw it, but I read about it. What other things has this particular murder method been in?

I haven't taken my antidepressants in well over a year and I've stopped having dreams. It feels like I just close my eyes, fall asleep, and then wake up hours later with no dreams in-between.

Honest question, do you like that or not? For me, I love dreams. Dreams help keep me sane and in a good place mentally. And the bad ones are worth it for the good ones. But I know others don't like dreams and would much rather not dream or not remember their dreams at all.

DA

Everyone dreams, lest they don't sleep. Mos

You are right. They dream, they just don't remember it and I think they aren't as vivid at the time.

I recommend you see a therapist.
