Oh hey, it me. In other words, totally seconding this.

I love a bit of informal D/s in my smut, but as soon as you formalize it and make it this whole scene thing, it just looses its appeal for me.

I love when D/s is just like this natural extension of the character's acting on instinct and doing what feels good and responding to each other's signals. Maybe panting out the occasional, "This okay?" in the moment, if it's needed.
