I'm deeply relieved and happy about the win, but also extremely apprehensive about what kind of fucked up bullshit the cheeto might pull during his last 3 months, out of sheer spite

Honestly, I expect him or his shitty enablers to do at least one more shitty thing before this pathetic administration is gone. Because the long-lasting damage they've already done just isn't enough of a punishment for recognizing the fat turd's greatness.

But hey, maybe we'll get an early Christmas present and he'll fuck off to Russia or China before the debt collectors or law enforcement get him.

YES!! Gods, so fucking glad. I knew he had it, but the last four days have been so fucking FRAUGHT.

I literally ran out into the rain and did a happy dance when I found out. I highly doubt it's gonna be smooth sailing for the next couple of months (or years), but man, I haven't felt the urge to dance in such a long time.

Thank you, I know there's still tons of work for all of us to do, but I'm so relieved right now. I might actually sleep through the night.

Yes, I'm being a broken record when I say this, but we need to sit down and have some serious conversations with the other side, tempting as it is to ridicule them.

It isn't great when it comes this close to one's country losing its democracy and going full blow fascist and dictatorship. We can't let it happen, or ever let it come this close again.

Not exactly? I think people who are eligible to vote but not registered still outnumber registered voters of all parties. Which, idk, I feel like if disgust at Trump's behavior (or, sadly, admiration for it) didn't motivate them to register and vote, nothing will, so it still isn't great, but it's not half the country. Also Biden got 4,000,000+ more votes than Trump.
