I have been exhausted lately. No clue why except my shitty diet of late. Mostly boxed stuff because our new fridge will not come in until the 23rd. -_- Currently getting all my gifts lined up so I can order them all on the first.

Well, I was supposed to go to the dentist and get an allergy shot. However, around lunch time I was bringing in some boxes from the front porch. Thought my cat was on the back porch. Turns out not. She slipped out. Tried to catch her, couldn't. A neighbor tried, and scared her, and she fled.

She was gone until 5. She came back to the back porch acting like nothing ever happened. But those were just about the worst 5 hours of my life, honestly.

Hung out with my sisters for a while. Tried the new vegetarian Pizza Hut pizza. It was a good day.

Made a large pot of spaghetti sauce and did a couple loads of laundry. It's rainy and chilly out.

Slept in till noon (to be fair I've been on a nights schedule at work and everything is out of whack), faffed around the house, went and got a bunch of groceries.

Then despite the groceries I stopped at McDonald's on the way home because I didn't feel like cooking. /facepalm

Overrepresented: trash party shite. Also D/s where the sub is super-helpless and cries a lot and/or most of the fic is discussion or aftercare.

Underrepresented: just down-and-dirty *kinky shit*. Where is the corset and heels stuff, the *fun* bondage (not the 'are you okay' ever other line bondage), the CBT and pony and puppy play, the floggers and the bent over the couch hard-core screwing, where is just the raunchy, kinky, 'sex is fun, let's get dirty' stuff?

I cannot stand trash part shit. I have had to block like 4 authors on AO3 in the Teen Wolf fandom because of that stuff.

Not a fan of fics with super helpless subs, especially because in most of my fandoms it is really OOC for any of the characters I'm reading about.

And yes, not enough fun kinky stuff, where everyone involved is enthusiastic about it and enjoying themselves.

I'd actually say my fandom has a nice variety. Anything involving women is kind unrelated in the Silmarillion fandom, but more represented in the wider Tolkien fandom. But everything else is fairly well represented honestly. This wasn't always the case, which is why I started writing PWPs in the first place. But the fandom has changed since I joined and first started writing.

Actually, one I can think of as unrepresented is the various crossdressing kinks. In particular I love corsets, and I'd really love more slash fics involving corsetry.

Pegging isn't particularly common either. Actually currently writing one just because I want to see it with Silmarillion characters.

One thing that has shown up more often than I would suspect is age play. Like, why would elves be into age play? That I don't get, so it seems overrepresented just because it doesn't fit the fandom to me.

Also overrepresented in every single fandom every would be D/s where characterization goes out the window and suddenly the Dom is a super controlling, bossy, rude dom and the sub is quiet, meek, crying, hesitant, can't do anything for themselves sub.

Foot fetish is nonexistent in my fandoms even though foot fetish is one of the most common kinks in live action porn.

Birthday sex is pretty rare too and a personal fave of mine. Love birthday themed kinks such as balloons, cake frosting, ribbon bondage, et cetera.

Over represented = extremely dull fluff. Every single damn fic seems to be an under 1,000 word bland garbage with a poorly executed fluffy concept. Its someone's birthday. Someone gets a puppy. Everyone watches a film together. Christ. Even fics proclaiming to be hurt/comfort often have nothing more than a stubbed toe. Where are the soul-searing fics where the characters have to struggle with brutal situations???

Under represented = anything remotely kinky, or even part way interesting.
