I don't even love the Star Wars sequels that much. But seeing the worst parts of the fandom saying that they wish the Mandalorian would make the sequels not canon or would make it clear the Mandalorian takes place in an AU where the sequels don't exist make me wish that the show would start bringing a ton of sequel stuff in and would become really pro-sequels just as a middle finger to these awful people who ruin the fandom for everyone.

I don't like Reylo, but I also don't think it's evil or idealises abuse or any of that. I just don't enjoy it, and would like to be able to say that without people who do like Reylo immediately getting worried I'm going to call them vile names.
Some rotten little jerks ruin things for everyone.

I shipped Jim with Stricklander from Trollhunters. Yes, it's a fucked up pairing with incest/underage vibes. Yes, I still ship it. The darker, the better with this pairing, at least for me.

I’ve noticed lately that I’ve a far more noticeable reaction to characters I’m attracted to in games than I do in other media. Specifically, I’ve noticed for the first time that I actually have a type, and that type is apparently burly warrior women who could kill me or save me without breaking a sweat.

I think maybe it’s because games are much more first person? It feels more like it’s me that, say, Cassandra Pentaghast from Dragon Age Inquisition is running up beside and helpfully bashing a wall down for. Or me that Glory from Fallout 4 runs past, minigun blazing, and me that KLEO from the same game is telling she’s ‘all woman baby’ while simultaneously trying to sell me everything lethal under the sun. It feels more personal. This incredible woman just effortlessly smashed her way through a wall and/or a dragon for me.

IDK, it’s just a lot stronger of a reaction with games?

I work for a church, and this past year has been especially rough. Thank God in my downtime I can escape into fiction and obsess over characters like… *checks notes* Aziraphale from Good Omens, The Priest from Fleabag, and Nicky from The Old Guard? Oh come on, self!

One of the first reviews I received for my fic recently told me the characters in my fic were OOC and that the character motivations didn't make sense. I took it in grace (got some awesome friends who have been really supportive with my writing endeavors) but I can't help being annoyed. I specifically wrote that I just wanted to write a crack fic for a crack ship. Sorry that I don't ship the same as the reviewer, but like they could have just stopped reading my fic.

Secret because I feel like I am being a little sensitive but I can't help it. I thought we were supposed to have fun in fandom...

Watching YYH, I now ship Shizuru (Kuwabara's older sister) with Hiei.

Reason: I really like both characters -- Hiei is such a little shit and so mean, and Shizuru is so blasé about everything (but secretly cares, and shows it more than Hiei). I just feel like their personalities could work together, and Kuwabara's shock would be hilarious (considering the other situation I won't disclose for any re-watchers).

I'm genuinely surprised Harvest Moon: Back to Nature didn't develop much of a kink following. It's quite ripe for it, excuse the farming pun. There's pastor fetish with Carter and Cliff in the church. Medical kink with Eli and the Doctor at the ward. Barnyard incest in the chicken coop with Popuri and Rick. Gotz the lumberjack bear.
