Not like I have much of a horse in this race but are you saying that female characters come off well in Eric Kripke shows? If so, I just have to strongly disagree. Like, there were ultimately many poorly written female characters that waltzed in and out of Supernatural. And by waltzed out, I mean killed off.

That's not what I was saying.

Also I don't remember which seasons of SPN Kripke was actually involved in but that seems like an important thing to take account of.

In fairness, Supernatural had a lot of poorly written male characters, too.

I guess the only difference with them was that if they waltzed out, sometimes they didn't stay waltzed.

I ultimately think a lot of people are confusing poorly killed off with the writing overall. Jo, Ruby (both versions), Meg, Ellen, Mary, Bela were ridiculously well-written, but their deaths were shallow and quick (I assume we're sticking to s1-5).
