Shitty. I've been an absolute grouch all day. I have to take my dog to the vet this afternoon for a follow up appointment and she hates the vet, and it's going to be an expensive appointment because she has some kind of autoimmune disorder that's attacked the joints in her front feet and is deforming and permanent, and her meds are expensive, and it hurts her, and she doesn't understand what's going on or why they have to jam needles in her legs, and I wish like mother FUCK that she didn't have this thing, but fuck me and fuck my dog too I guess because god is a rotten evil fuckface shit eating dick stain who wants my dog to suffer. But hey on the bright side my dog might be in remission, she just has to have expensive meds for the rest of her life and won't be able to just run around and be a dog like she used to, so there's that, hooray.

Sorry man, I'm just especially cunty today. :(

Aside from the usual health issues, decent! Always glad when I can do stuff to the satisfaction of my boss, and a little smug when I can pick out the errors in the stuff someone else sent him to have me work on, and have those people who are way more highly paid than I am thank me for it. ;)

Took a walk in the park on lunch break, did my pet-related chores on another break, and apparently at least one person seems interested in me following up the fic I posted on New Year's weekend with an angstfest aftermath. Given how much I enjoy making these characters in particular screw up and suffer... yay? :D

(Trying not to be too freaked out about GA runoffs, despite having news channels on while I do other stuff. Worst case scenario really is "things won't get better, but they probably won't get worse on a daily basis anymore".)

Been thinking about asking to be tested to see if I have autism, which can be possible on the NHS but I feel like my doctor I've have to get a referral from won't put me through either because they won't take me seriously or its a really shitty time to bring it up with covid happening.

I've suffered from anxiety/social-anxiety ever since I was a kid and when I sought treatment 5 years ago nothing seemed to help and the last thing I got sent to was treating 'social-phobia' which may as well have shortened 3 weeks don't to say "It's all in your head :) so instead of worrying about what you're doing wrong, try not worrying about what you're doing wrong :)"
So I was put off and thought that this would just be something I'll have to live with even though it's like a big roadblock for everything I ever have to do but with six times the effort and still failing as a result half the time.

For quite some time I've been reading other peoples experience with Autism/ADHD and been thinking how much of it was stuff I go through and went through as a kid. Recently someone mentioned that anxiety can be a big issue with anyone affected with difficulties in socializing/routines/etc in association with autism. Plus when my brother got diagnosed when we were both kids, the doctor told my mother that it was impossible for me to have autism since its a 'boys condition' - so its not impossible to believe that I was overlooked because of that belief at the time.

To get to the point: I was wondering if approaching my struggles with anxiety would help knowing whether or not I have autism. It might not be the case and I have somehow over-thought about this, but it has made me wonder if its the reason why my past treatments for anxiety has never worked well.

Feeling a bit lonely. I live alone and the past few days have been rough—had to leave work midday to go to urgent care for a severe allergic reaction the second time in two months—and I wish I had someone to vent to, or at least talk about the book I'm reading with. But all my friends are busy with their own shit right now so I don't want to bother anyone.

This sounds stupid indeed but right now I'm stressing over not understanding the story in MGK's "my ex's best friend". It should be easy probably, but I've been staring at the lyrics like it's a complicated maths formula for 2 hours now. So much for someone who was laughing the other day at how hard it was to get FOB lyrics as a teen.

Right now bad.

I was doing a routine check on my dog (petting her while touching her around to make sure I didn't feel anything weird on her body) and found some balls in one of her breasts. I did a quick check online and it says she might have tumors. This is awful. I'm worried sick and calling her vet tomorrow for an appointment or something. I always hear about people who say their dogs had the energy of a puppy and they passed from decease and I don't want this to be the case as well with my own. I'm worried sick and feel like crying and about to break down.

I was thinking about how at 16 years old I really wanted a sleeve tattoo of Naruto characters, HUGE angel wings tattooed all over my back and the yaoi mustache-panda mascot from Junjo Romantica on my thigh. Thankfully I was too young, broke and too scared of needles to do any of it.
