Well, I personally think that is bullshit. It's incredibly judgmental. If someone gets the idea across, then I don't see how that makes their opinion null and void. This isn't a job application or writing your college thesis, it's fandom_secrets. I'd rather someone talk to me as they normally would than try to flower up their language.

I'm going to have to agree with you on both points

It's not about needing to have perfect grammar/spelling all the damn time, typos happen.

It's about making sure that when you are posting something you want people to pay attention to you don't make yourself look like an idiot by making stupid mistakes and clearly showing that it took you a whole thirty seconds to type something up. [/rant]
