Not because he didn't want to have sex with her then, because he betrayed her.

Plus she had already been leaving him alone beforehand, but then Naevia convinced him to go back to her and restart their relationship so he could regain his status in the ludus.

She owned him. Like, I love Lucretia as a character, but there is no situation here, where he betrays her. Or where she should be sleeping with him in the first place.

Also it's not like he said, he wasn't interested in her, and she was like "ok, cool nevermind then". He gave some bullshit reason for avoiding sex ONCE. It is pretty much clear that she would have assumed their affair would have continued after the fight (and then after he was healthy).
