Got a estimate for repairing our basement wall. -__- Went on a walk to enjoy the weather before it gets below freezing this weekend.

Worked, edited fic between projects, suddenly had a song I hadn't thought of for at least ten years pop into my head because darnit if this fic was a movie it would be perfect background music for this scene. Now pulling out a guitar I haven't played in years (if I can find something to stand in as a pick) because even without it making me think of my OTP, it's a vocalist whose range and style is a lot like mine used to be back when I could sing. If I ever get healthy enough to sing again, would be nice to have something else to pull out when I'm near a guitar.

...Turned out that it was in fact as I suspected just listening to it, three chords. So easy that I picked it up within about a minute.

Then put the guitar away again because I'm too sick to sing and not being able to belt it out while playing was making me really upset. :/

Watching the Bucks game, waiting for the guys to finish building my neighbors' new fence (its really nice!), and reading this crazy "Adam Driver assaulted an old lady with a chair on a film set and got crew members fired for looking at him...oh wait, none of that actually happened and he just bumped her chair with his chair while they were filming a scene together, and several people who worked on the film have come forward and said nobody got fired lol oops" story.

Got some legal work, spent several hours working on a motion that I thought would be quick, but ended up taking longer because turned out there was a stupid case by one of Trump's attorney generals that made it more difficult.

Also did 3 loads of laundry.

My jaw is really sore today. I slept well last night, but I'm still way behind on sleep.

Hope you feel better soon! I have a toothache as well and really hope it goes away on its own because I hate visiting the dentis.

AYRT - Same here! Mine doesn't seem to be stopping so easily though, a root canal is probably going to be needed. :/ Not in the middle of a pandemic though! Get well you too!

Seems to be a lot of that around these parts lately, and that sucks. :(

The one that ruined my last week and wouldn't let me sleep for a few days seems to be mostly faded, which is good because the last time I could afford to see a dentist several years ago, he told me it was going to cost a couple thousand dollars of surgery to fix what was causing it so... yeah that's not happening unless universal health care happens in the US and includes dental. :P But at least it always fades after about a week, so I'm not as bad off as some of you who have been telling stories...

Made some fried rice. It came out pretty good.
