I need something to give me that push. I had lost a lot of weight a few years ago, kept it off, and I'm now on track to gain it all back due to COVID.

Same, really - I am heavier than I've ever been, I'm way too sedentary, and I just *cannot* seem to muster up enough motivation to exercise on the regular or eat decently. So frustrating!

I doubt I'll ever be even a normal weight, nevermind skinny, barring some catastrophic illness, since dieting or limiting what/how much I eat triggers the shit out of me, and I love food (luckily including veggies and fruit, but also cheese, pasta, and sweets) and the only exercise I can afford, don't hate, and that does not require a swimsuit is walking.

I'm up to 7 miles a day this year and I'm at the limit of what I can do on top of my full time job and still have time to eat, sleep, and shower on work nights.

Pray tell exactly what he said then? Cause comedy is comedy, all I've seen of all of his performances is the ability to make light his comedic ability and of himself.
Tell me exactly where this three-way unwilling street might be, and maybe we'll have a conversation. Otherwise- don't pretend this is even a conversation.

Good luck, OP! Take it one day at a time. Remember to stop and congratulate yourself for the days you do nail it. Often when we stick to our diets, we only end up feeling more stressed out because we feel more pressure to stay on the wagon. But that just builds up a negative association with eating healthy. If you let yourself feel genuinely proud for every one day of healthy eating (totally regardless of how you do tomorrow), you'll be building a positive association with healthy eating, which will make it easier over time.
