same; it's like, self-indulgent doesn't have to equal poorly written or poorly executed. Poorly-written fic is poorly written, there's nothing saying you have to still read it or like/encourage it if the quality of SPAG gets in the way of the end goal of communicating a story coherently and enjoyably.
