I mean, if they're normal but have great motivation or drive to do something (for example to go to MIT without being naturally brilliant), is that not strength? And not being a genius doesn't mean the default is dumb.

No, I don't mean that. I mean heroines that come and go, sometimes go wrong, but end up getting there. You know, average heroines that thrive and things end up going just well.

Maybe really stubborn. Lucky is good, too. Like, the chosen one, IDC. Why is the chosen one rarely female? Just some variety. I hate having to deal with meritocratic discourse even in fiction.
