Yes. I think I'm a solid 6 by most shitty straight male standards and I tend to see myself as a lot worse than that (I was anorexic so I just have the "well, I'm fat, like 99% of the non-Photoshop'd population" bug ingrained) but in some cosplay pictures, with the right lightning/pose/angle/makeup/clothes I go "wow... I really look like the character I like!" which is the highest form of praise.
