Re: Vent thread
(Anonymous) 2021-02-23 05:29 am (UTC)(link)Thing is, it's one of those channels for mental health wellbeing and stuff, and I had shared something super personal on a video, in what I thought was a place of support. Well, somebody took issue with terms I was not at all directing at them, or at ANYONE they were referring to, and blasted some crazy rant starting with the fact that they were insulted by such terms (mind you, I was using such terms for MY sake, to protect MYSELF from being recognized on my YT account, and in context of the comment, common sense would say I was not talking about anyone that offended anon was referring to). Then they transitioned into several walls of text going into bizarre mixes of something vaguely on topic, religion, and what I can only assume was concern trolling for me.
I wanted so badly to tell them to fuck off, but not in a community like that. The most I could do was tell them not to make MY comment all about them. I really hope they don't reply back with more stupidity. All I know is that I probably won't comment on another one of these videos if that's the kind of shit I'm going to get. Guess it's on me, though. Youtube comment sections are never safe and I knew that from past experience.
