AHAHA can you be a euroboo if you already speak german? I learned italian and german and I'd like to pick one of them up again but that is because I did enjoy studying it, not because my italian teacher was also a trained opera singer :|

I don't understand how that's "weaboo" ish at all in any way. I mean, wanting to learn a language, REGARDLESS of the initial reason is always a great goal to have. It'll benefit people in tons of different ways..

Plus, genuinely learning Japanese and yelling DESU DESU KAWAII!!11 ^.^ are two totally different things.

Of course, I took German, French, and Italian when I was getting a degree in voice performance, and I'm now trying to teach myself Japanese after having sung some Toru Takemitsu art songs.. so I'm biased. =(

That's always been my problem with it too. Not the potential lack of pr0n (because hell, I can find that anywhere) but the fact that if it is/ever becomes canon, that makes them selfish assholes who are screwing over people who care about them.

Exactly! And I can't help but feel that people are conveniently ignoring Gwen's personality for the Jack pr0nz, too. Maybe I'm the only who still makes an issue of Jack abandoning them for the Doctor, but I really can't imagine that Gwen would let that what she has with Rhys go for a man who'd always leave them behind for another person.
