I'm super leery of the tumblr term "child coded". Mostly bc of it's potential to be used on autistic characters. I am an autistic adult. Many things about me can seem childish but that doesn't make me any less an adult. I want to see (and maybe even create) more characters like myself in media but deep down I feel like they'd be labeled "child coded"

S!b: I know this sounds like I'm making up a hypothetical. But disabled people have been infantalized for ages. It's not new.
