Sometimes I live kudos for fics I haven't actually read; I simply wanted to show appreciation to the writer for being courageous with either their tagged kinks (such as obscure or outright taboo fetishes) or for rare pairs (or even previously nonexistent ones on AO3). The fic itself may not be my personal cup of tea but I still want to show some love for unusual works that step outside of the mainstream.
