I can't play Genshin Impact (doesn't run on any of my devices, I don't pay PSPlus;) but from what I've seen the fandom is big - so it's got to have at least a few rotten apples and some drama - but very chill.

There is definitely assorted drama, from pedo calling to randos hacking other people's accounts because the game's security is literally bad (so if you ever play and take a screenshot, make sure to cut off the bottom corner where your ID number is). Thankfully the people I've met have been incredibly chill so I've avoided most drama.
