It's where I had my very first blog (and bitched about everything in middle school lol). I kinda wish I had been active in fandom spaces, but I learned how to fuck with html/css through it!

Tbh, i didn't even know there were fandom spaces. I kept to myself with the exception of one other classmate who had one (i think she was in a fan group for gravitation) out of fear of creepy men on the internet out to find 11 y/o girls.

I do go back from time to time, but it never returns. I just want to blog again lol. It sounds like you had a nice time, OP!

PS: George Harrison was the hot (and underrated) one imo.

I'm down for dragon/lady, BUT humanoid type dragon form. Idk how it would physically work in other forms! I mean, the dragon can keep many of it's dragon-y attributes, but it's gotta scale down to very tall/overpowering human size if we're tryna knock boots out here. It also has to be sentient. I'm only down for monster fucking if the monster has AT least human cognition/can communicate (telepathically, sign language,writing, speech, else w/e)

I think OP is talking about people who don't ask for critique and also complain about not getting any comments.

This is, in my opinion, perfectly fair. Most people are absolutely terrible at critique, which is why good betas are worth their weight in gold. The average fic reader could at best tell you how to make your fic appeal to them.

And incidentally, if someone can't think of anything nice to say, that's a sign that they're not going to be able to give good critique, at least for that story. Decent critique builds up, it doesn't just tear down.

I feel you on the k-pop fandom thing because k-pop fandom can get really crazy. Not on everything else though. Maybe I just had terrible luck. (Nah, who am I trying to fool, I was just the outsider among outsiders.)

I like Poe, Edward Gorey, Shakespeare, many Japanese poets, Robert Frost, Oscar Wilde, Ogden Nash, Maya Angelou, Lewis Carroll, Edward Lear, Lord Byron, Keats, Shelley, Longfellow and a lot of others.
I dislike any poetry I've read in the bible (and not just because I'm an atheist but also for purely aesthetic reasons) and almost all the poetry I've read in the New Yorker magazine.
