Aw, I wish I could give you some really good advice, OP, but I’m not sure what I would do in such a situation. I’ll just say that I’ve never regretted letting a person know how I feel about them, but I do regret the one time I didn’t say anything. That’s just my perspective though. I wish you best of luck in whatever you decide to do.

I definitely don’t regret telling him. But it’s hard to say how to proceed from here. We both interact in the same community, so it’s hard to know what’s okay or not okay to do. When he backs away he avoids me. When he’s okay with talking he’ll approach me again.
