I love Loki and am looking forward to the new tv series. Sorry, OP but I disagree. I don't think Marvel has made Loki a "good guy" by any means. Any "heroism" was fueled by self interest. I hated Loki as flat out villain in The Avengers. To me, he is neither hero nor villain but fueled by pure chaos. This new series looks interesting and hopefully will show this side to the trickster demi-god. Guess we'll see...

I'm worried that as they CLEARLY took inspiration from SamBucky ao3 fics for FatWS they'll take 2013 era tumblr for Loki inspiration and I will have to throw myself into the sea.

I'm optimistic though, they've all been good this far.

Loki is my favourite character in the MCU and I am looking forward to the show (though with a lot of skepticism and trying not to get my hopes up lol.) But I also don't want him to have a good heart! Well. not completely. Imo it wouldn't make sense for him to have a good heart anyway, since the Loki in this show /should/ be immediately post first Avengers movie, when he was arguably at his most shitty. So he should be a bit of a shit in the show too. But since he's the main character.... I guess he'll have to become a better person by the end. Sigh

I'm only interested in Loki when he's a pathological liar who literally can't stop causing trouble because he's fundamentally a force for fucking things up. I really don't want him to have any motivation of good or evil, fundamentally, or even personal gain. I just want him to cause trouble for everyone including (especially?) himself.

Declawing cats is wrong and evil, and I too automatically dislike anyone who does it to a cat. It hurts, not just at the time, but permanently. And they can't walk the way they are meant to, which means they often get arthritis in their legs. And they don't want to use the litter box because the litter hurts. And they can't defend themselves. And they end up using teeth when they can't use claws as a warning or protective action, and the same owners who had them declawed then think the cat is a bad cat for doing the only thing it can.

Declawing a cat is not like even removing our nails would be. It is like taking off all our fingers at the first knuckle. Their claws are attached firmly and deeply and are an extremely important thing that they use in all sorts of ways.

I'm glad it is already illegal a lot of places, I wish it were illegal everywhere.
