I had my car rear ended with minor damage. Yuck.
Pizza tonight for dinner. Yum.

I am exhausted. Went bowling for my nephew's birthday. His two friends showed up and there were no meltdowns. I got second place out of all the adults. My hand is killing me (mostly my thumb).

I'm glad his friends showed up! And D: take care of that hand.

Me too. And thanks, currently it is just my thumb. I kept getting scared the bowling ball would like break a finger. :p

Got to see Mom at the nursing home and she's feeling better (meds were making her sicker).

Mowed the lawn.

Now I need to wash the doggos.

The day passed by... . At least I managed to write a letter in Slowly.

Been crying more frequently recently because of anxiety/life shit and got drunk in a park so my family don't have to deal with my emotional bullshit.

It was kind of a nice day out. People stayed away because I probably looked like a crazy person sitting in the rain while crying my eyes out - but when the rain stopped and got brighter, I was cried out and just listened to music while writing some stuff in my notebook.

Oh bb be careful drinking in the park, you could be arrested for public intoxication (or your country's equivalent, idk where you are but where I am that means you'll have to dry out in the drunk tank downtown and just...yeah, you're not gonna like that). Take care, bb.

Oh its ok I'm in the UK - there are sections of London where you get fined for drinking but the one I was in wasn't one of them. But thank you for the concern and you take care too x

Cleaning the house up, now have space to mess it up again immediately by pulling out all the stuff I need to get back to work on one of the cosplays I was in the middle of. :P

I’m honestly kind of embarrassed at the way AO3 read my mind today. I had a dream a few days ago about a minor character from a movie I saw one time several years ago and never got involved in fandom for, and all of a sudden I wanted...basically that dream in the form of reader-insert fanfic. And AO3 delivered. I barely used two words in my search, I wasn’t even sure of the character’s name, and yet most of the results were the exact kind of OC I was in the dream, paired with that minor character, in that particular context, same major tropes and everything. I never have this easy a time searching for things. Never. I had to hide under my blanket to read them because I felt like I was being watched.

Maybe I’m not the only one who’s had that dream.

Congratulations to Italy for winning Eurovision! See you in Rome next year! (Hopefully Francesco Gabbani will be involved somehow.)

Well deserved win! Lots of good acts though this year. :) Even the UK's was okay, if not memorable. Felt bad for their artist though.

Really pleased for Italy even though it wasn't my fave. Of the rockier tracks I preferred Finland but am not mad it went to Italy.

I loved Iceland but thought their entry that never was last year was better so didn't expect them to win tonight.

Feel like the only person on Earth who thought Switzerland and France were boring. Glad Switzerland was beaten by the public vote.

I'm from the UK and thought our entry was as uninspired and meh as usual but don't think the artist deserved that. He's perhaps the unfortunate target of misaimed rage/indifference.

Really strong final overall this year tbh!

I really didn't rate Italy's song, or most of the top finishers tbh. My favourite songs of the night were the Netherlands and Sweden.

They deserved it!

I liked Finland and Germany too.

But France and the UK were incredibly boring. Couldn't have they found something /someone better?

And can France stop sending singers that can only sing in French already? If I remember correctly, they've never had anyone sing in English, have they?

I don't ever watch it, but a discord I am in a lot of people do so they were linking me to some of the songs. I watched Italy first and after watching like 5 or 6 others I was like, "How on earth did Italy win???"

Surprisingly, I'm having a good day, even though I'm still lonely and isolated and fearful of something that will be coming up in the near future.

Spent most of the day packing boxes, suitcases and my car. Then had to go over to the office for 2 hours. My whole body is sore. Right now I'm eating Panera potato soup and watching Chicago Med. Will probably crash after that.

I'm leaving at either 8 or 9 tomorrow.

Eurovision. Eurovision just happened. Yay Eurovision!

I'm doing much better emotionally now that I've just shrugged off a bunch of bullshit in life. Like whatever. I was genuinely impressed with myself today for how well I handled things. Like, hey, go me. It's cool to be cool.

In fic or published lit, whatever media.

I'm reading a fuc that continues to describe a character as pouty. Pouty lips here, pouting lips there, pout pout pout everywhere! Yes, i get it, she has plump lips and always looks mildly surprised, thank you. It's worse because I know what the writer us trying to imply,but all i think of is an insolent child pouting. Or someone who had waaaay too much lip filler. :/

I need to make more icons but I'm too lazy to make them.
