What movies are looking forward to?

So many in the fairly near future. First, I am going to go see Cruella in the theater when I have the time. It sounds fun, I love the cast, I just need a genuinely fun, relaxing theater day.

Every single upcoming MCU movie, but especially Black Widow and Doctor Strange 2. And Shang Chi even though I know very little about the character.

The Tomorrow War looks really fun. Peter Rabbit 2 because the first one was very fun.

Dune is probably the one I'm most excited about.

Tentatively The Green Knight. Also tentatively Candyman. And yes Jurassic World 3 because dinosaurs are just fun even when the script is mediocre. And tentatively Encanto.

the Borat sequel, the Personal History of David Copperfield and Cryptozoo. I'm also very curious about the West Side Story remake which seems like it could be either really great or terrible.

Black Widow, despite all the stupid and/or understandable delays. Though I don't know if I have any hope if seeing it in a theatre, depending on how people behave over the next month.

Weekend Plans?

What is everyone doing this weekend?

I am visiting my sister for the weekend. We are going to be planting some flowers in her new garden beds. It is also her fiancé's birthday, so we will be making him a cake.

I might also try smoking pot? My sister and her fiance both got their medical cards. I've tried gummies and they did nothing. My sister said smoking might work better but I've not smoked anything ever. So, eh.

Unpacking, organizing, and other moving-in tasks. My mom arrived a few hours ago, and she's the planner, so I'm sure she'll have a plan for how we're going to do things by tomorrow. Resting since I still have the headache and nausea that started yesterday. If I watch anything, it will be Doctor Who series 1 because I'm in the mood for a Who rewatch.

My big priorities for this weekend, in no particular order - I'm gonna sleep a lot, I'm going to try and put together an Ikea kitchen table I got a month or so ago and haven't gotten around to putting together yet, I'll probably watch some sports, and I'm going to sleep a lot.

Its looking like everyone and their brother will be getting tf outta Dodge this weekend, so I'm staying home and enjoying the quiet. The weather is supposed to be nice here, maybe I'll have dinner at a nice outdoor place (my county is currently ok with outdoor dining with distanced seating).

Ooooh good luck with that. I've tried the CBD oil (because gummies tend to have stuff in them I can't tolerate) and it didn't seem to do much, but also I'm not sure my body was absorbing it right and the taste was hideous, so I've been kind of tempted to try smoking it even though I also have never smoked anything in my life.

As for me... right now I'm rereading some of the particularly actiony-plotty fic I wrote for my OTP and wishing I had some inspiration to write some more like it. It's basically sword-and-sorcery fantasy stuff, just... two gay (well, bi but presently in a reasonably committed partnership, hahah) guys kicking butt together. And I want to write more of that but need to think up some kind of epic adventure for them to embark upon. Since I don't have Verizon and can't find anyone who does and can give me a code for the Pokemon Go event this weekend, maybe I'll spend it cleaning and rereading and brainstorming.

It's going to be a rainy weekend and I will just try to get through it. A relative is visiting on Tuesday with their dogs and I'm looking forward to that.
I am very isolated (even though I live with people) and bored, and trying to recover from some depression and loss of appetite due to a horrible occurrence that exposed my mental illness.

I've got an exam tomorrow, and it's gonna S U C K.
Firstly, because I applied for extra time (which I'm supposed to get because disability) and I haven't got it;
Secondly, because I just plain have not studied enough (verbs are hard);
And thirdly, because I'm in a hotel room, caught in a snap lockdown, and the uni's response to this news was basically 'sucks to be you'.

I'm gonna hit up the grocery store for a big jar of nutella, so when the exam's over I can eat and cry.

Cute! As for the second part, I haven't ever tried it and don't intend to, so...

Honestly, I had the beginning of a breakdown this week because not a single soul managed to help me with basic stuff despite me crying out a lot/asking everyone. Since I've had severe mental illness since I was 6 I treat my brain like a tailings dam where sometimes a dam may collapse and it's hard to save the next. It's not a joke, panic attacks and loss of thought are the tip of the iceberg. May get delirious and hallucinate as well.

Right now I am having a few hours for myself, finally, after weeks. And I am just trying to get my brain working straight, repair the dam so I can face the next week and not... actually have a full-on breakdown. Trying to do fun things despite all my valid worries and, right now, insomnia. Wishing that someone would help. Wishing I was dead too. It is what it is. Maybe something good will come along, maybe not.
