The Halloween remakes. Star Trek Into Darkness. Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker. The Last Airbender. Man of Steel and Batman v. Superman. Avatar.

I have very strong feelings on that movie. I wouldn't hate it as much if it wasn't touted as this amazing things. Sure, the effects were cool, but that's it. the story was an awful rehash of better movies. It had nothing new to say. It was one of those movies that is pretty to look at but completely flat in every way, and yet people were touting it as the best scifi movie ever. Then again, I generally dislike most James Cameron movies. He's just not my cup of tea as a director. This is the only one I actively hate, though.
