I got half an hour into Jurassic World and had to give it up, so you did better than me! The magic and mystery was just GONE. It took a few years to get them back even for the original trilogy.

And speaking of trilogies: LoTR. Hate 'em. /book purist and Denethor fan. I can't speak for The Hobbit - I got so bored in the first one that I stopped right there.
