As a background extra, I sometimes get booked for gigs that are like "cool club girls" or "cool pool party attendees" or whatever. And the call time will be like 6 AM, so I show up to location on like two hours of shitty sleep, feeling extremely haggard and awful, and there'll be like thirty extremely good-looking young people who look fresh as daisies, and I'll find myself feeling more and more like a dog's breakfast, like, "How does everybody else here look so fucking bomb and well-rested and flawless?"

And then I'll remember that on most of these shoots, 95% of them are like 23 or younger, and I'm 33, and that's why.
