I got a few of her videos recced by youtube once, never watched. Someone's thumbnail of her using LOLCOW is everything I need to know now.

I never watched her videos, but I checked out a couple this week and I feel like she would've rubbed me the wrong way even before I knew what a cruel, sadistic person she is. IDK if I would've thought she was secretly anywhere near that awful, though. Probably not?

I watched a few before, and didn't like her attitude much, but I really doubt anyone would've guessed "stalked someone for 10 years, Single White Female style" was a skeleton in her closet.

Honestly, google it. Youtube it. There's so much information out there. But basically, she got outed on a hate forum where she'd posted anon (she said a lot of nasty things about others, including friends), which then caused another youtuber to reveal that Creeepart Show and her her husband had stalked her for nearly ten years.

Seeing as Creepart's show was literally about 'holding people accountable for bad behavior' the backlash has been immense.

Seconding what the anon above me said, as well as what another commenter said about her behavior being very "Single White Female." It truly was. Like, she wasn't just harassing this other youtuber, she made tons of fake accounts across multiple platforms to harass her and run really elaborate headgames on her. She impersonated one of Emily's RL friends to try to get Emily to friend her. She got Emily fired from at least one job. She had nudes of Emily (some of them underage, acquired from Emily's ex) and held them over her head. All while seemingly trying to basically steal Emily's online identity. Like she would tell her followers that the exact things she was doing to Emily were things that someone was doing to her. It is a fucking headtrip to even listen to accounts of.

It could literally be a movie, that's how wild and creepy and elaborate it all is.

It's good people are holding Shannon accountable, but lets not forget the other willing participant that is her husband who would send her creepy snapchats about how he's in her neighborhood and sneaking into her room amongst other stuff that should have both him and Shannon in prison.

I was subscribed for a long time. I won’t say I believe every one of Emily’s accusations considering a lot of her evidence was circumstantial. But it’s more likely than not Shannon was at least helping that weirdo husband of hers harass Emily and that is still a big fucking yikes.

Well I’m not saying she’s innocent. Just that Emily didn’t have anything proving it was without a doubt Shannon. If she shared a phone or computer or tablet with her husband it could have easily been him. It would also make her complicit at the very least. Which is still disgusting in my opinion

Personally, what made it go past "ok, I'd need more recipts" and "maybe her weird husband was forcing her" was both the sibling's account and the fact that she even copied Emily's hairstyle. There's a line between "I just let my husband obsess over his ex to the point of criminal activity" and "I'm mimicking his ex and making her life miserable" but it's too thin.

Nobody is saying otherwise. I’m certainly not. I’m just saying Emily is the husband’s ex, not Shannon’s as far as we know. So I don’t think the harassment was 100% Shannon 100% of the time.

Absolutely, they can. And I'm sorry if I implied it otherwise. I know I've seen some people say that since Shannon's husband was abusive to Emily (and allegedly raped her) there's a chance he is also abusive to Shannon herself. BUT I think that, past a certain point? Shannon is completely responsible for her own actions, especially when you factor what she did to her sibling.

TL;DR Yes, you're right, I misspoke, and Shannon by herself is shitty enough.

Agreed, but from what I've heard about this Anthony guy he seems legit terrifying and manipulative. Shannon is known to lovebomb people who criticize her and her videos tend to cater to what people want to hear (like LGBQT audience) despite her true feelings on lolcow showing she is a bigot. She is the kind that seeks approval and wants everyone to love her which is the most easily kind of manipulated people.

I think Shannon and Anthony are both the worst kind of people that feed off each other's negativity creating the match made in hell.

I 100% believe Emily, but when people say circumstantial they mean what can actually hold up in court. Lawyers will weasel their way through any loophole that unless you have video evidence of a crime being committed they'll spin some plausible deniability bullshit. See OJ Simpson and Casey Anthony.

I have accidentally come across this drama a week ago or so. I watched one or two of her videos before the drama, because they were recommended to me. I could not comprehend why people like her videos, hey were so vile. But I figured, it was a pot finding lid kind of thing.

What I wanted to say is, I used to watch the other Youtuber involved in this situation: Emily Artful. I also stopped watching her a while ago, because she came across to me personally as quite an unlikeable person. She made videos, where she constantly talked badly about people in her past. I guess she has the right to share her own experiences, but her focus on the negative was somehow... I don't know, toxic? I don't like the word very much, but I can't think of anything better. She once made a video called "My Beef with Local Artist", and while the guy did not sound like a nice person, the only thing he did wrong towards Emily specifically, was... unfollowing her on Instagram. Yes, she made an entire video about a guy who unfollowed her. Which resulted in her fans dogpiling on this person, so he actually had to apologize to her and ask her to tell her fans to tone it down. So while I truly believe CreepArtShow is an immoral person, I find it hard to believe that EmilyArtful is such a victim and as a nice a person she presents herself to be. I am actually waiting for some shit to surface which would show her true face, which is probably not THAT much better. Is it unfair to say such things? Probably. But I can't help but find something to be off about her (Emily Artful).

I was mostly really annoyed with the way she talks, but her videos kept showing up in my recommends and I put it on as background noise.
