I mean, to me, his English has always had a pretty noticeable accent to it. But there is also his name, which seems somewhat indicative of where he's from, even if the 'Damme' is just a professional name (his full birth name is Jean-Claude Camille François Van Varenberg).

I was subscribed for a long time. I won’t say I believe every one of Emily’s accusations considering a lot of her evidence was circumstantial. But it’s more likely than not Shannon was at least helping that weirdo husband of hers harass Emily and that is still a big fucking yikes.

"Fanfiction for a show that doesn't exist" is pretty scathing honestly.

Hey, I love fanfiction. Part of the appeal is we already know the world/characters so we can get right to the story. But if we don't learn about the the world/characters than we can't really have a story, you know? It's like reading a wikipedia article. Gee thanks I guess. That's not very satisfying!

Same! I think that's why I really like certain forms of Soulmate AUs/ABO/Or even just fics where the character is [Character name]-sexual only. I am under the ace umbrella as well.

What things are you particularly picky about in terms of characterization when you are reading fics in your fandom?

What things, on the other hand, are you not as picky about? Things where maybe there is a range of interpretations and you are cool with that, or things that just don't matter that much to you.
