Poor world building, poor character development, story hinges entirely on a relationship and it is the sole driving force of the narrative, all characters are defined in relation to the two OTP characters. Usually there's also an element of obvious wish fulfilment on the author's part that doesn't entirely fit within the parameters of the story and characters themselves.
