The directors have all ready come out and point-blank said they aren't going to explore his bisexuality this season (but let's be honest at all at any time). So this becomes another performative motion from Disney who are throwing crumbs to keep fans thinking they care.

And this week they are being clear that any feelings Loki may have right now are platonic toward Sylvie considering she's the only female he has had any meaningful interactions with.

The MCU is such garbage at relationships in general and romance in specific. For Christ sake, Tony and Pepper break up and then get back together OFF SCREEN.

There's a reason MCU fanfiction is huge. There's a lot of emotional real estate that's completely unused.

I’d like to shout out the JRPG Zanki Zero, where you can optionally have any party member romance any other party member, including any combination of bisexual polyamory. (Though you might not WANT to have some of the characters romance—-as the kids say, some of the pairings are problematic as fuck.)

Right? It's like all they *really* want to make are huge CGI fests with some one-liners, then they toss in 'relationships' as a sort of haphazard way of connecting scenes or something. Meh.

My first surprise N-word joke was in an O. Henry anthology. I understand the idea of historical preservation, but that’s one story I’d just as soon leave in the past. (I’ll also give a dishonorable mention to the ‘80s fantasy series The Taliswoman, where one of the characters suddenly says that bisexuals are monsters and should be killed.)

Those instrumental POV videos on YouTube titled stuff like “You’re the hero waltzing with the villain” and “Crying with your comfort character”. They make really good background music.

Oh, and BTS. I’ve really gotten into BTS lately.
