I'm not defending him, jayzus. I replied to ONE PERSON who said that they thought his 'on set' behavior was this, and I said 'well, i read it was that, actually'. And then several (or one?) anon jump in saying that must mean I approve of doxxing and I love Jared and blah, blah, blah.

How is that 'defending'? Frankly, when all this nonsense came out, I thought he was kinda stupid for making that 'i am hurt' tweet, knowing it would get a huge, huge shitstorm started.

I *do not* follow their off-set lives *at all*, and haven't been terribly active in the fandom much at all for a several years so no, I had no clue about the doxxing stuff. It's a shitty thing to do.

And I am very tired of 'I hate Tabaqui' anon who comes in here every few months, deliberately engages with me in some way, and then tells me how much they hate me.

When the first anon told you that Jared doxxed a waitress and to stop sucking his dick, you could have shut the rest of the argument down immediately by saying that was a shitty thing for him to do. Yes, that anon was an asshole about it, but you made it worse by getting defensive and calling them ridiculous.

If someone says Jared Paledecki is an asshole because he doxxed a waitress and your response is to call them ridiculous, it is going to look like you're defending JP. And when other people start pointing out all of the other shitty things that JP has done to waiters and hotel works and bar employees and the rest of it and your response is to double down on the aggressively defensive behavior, it doesn't help your case.

Them saying me repy/replies are basically the equivalent of 'i love jared and doxxing is great!' *is* ridiculous. I replied about a narrow set of behaviors, and hater!anon and a couple other extrapolated it wildly into a 'you are a Jared stan and also hate women and service workers' vibe.

NAYRT--there's a comic about "the guy who discovered sharks" where a caveman wades in the ocean and then says "smooth lions are eating me."

A truly insane number of people "well actually-ed" the comic creator that "shark skin is rough like sandpaper, actually."

The comic creator responded by doubling down that sharks were smooth like buttah, like a baby's bottom, slick as ice, the platonic ideal of a frictionless surface, etc, to the increasing rage, frustration, and foaming insanity of the "well actually" army. His trolling (and other people joining in) is more of a joke than the original simple comic now.

Idk I think they're saying you're trolling but I have no fucking clue what's going on in this thread so I'm just gonna back away slowly. Have a good day/night/whatever.
