Meh. It's never going to be completely true to the universe because it was as much Terry Pratchett's story as Gaiman's. It's not entitled to feel disappointed in that front I think. This seems like making it a cash cow and disrespectful to Sir Terry's legacy, especially after Neil Gaiman made so much noise about wanting to keep it true to the books in his memory.

Still, I know there are loads of people out there who are excited so I'm just going to walk away and ignore its existence.

I mean, others are as free to roll their eyes at flouncers as the flouncers are to flounce. But the majority of entitled GO headcanoners I've personally seen after the original GO release have been of the "C & A are supposed to be technically genderless and don't ever imply that they're physically banging like bunnies? HOMOPHOBIA they 100% ARE cis gay men and the showrunners are COWARDS for not going OTT making them be that."
