Nic Cage is a good actor but you only see his true talents when he works with truly great directors

I... I kind of agree? To be fully honest, the only performance of his I can recall actually liking is Mandy, that movie is what Ghost Rider should have been back in the day, only a decade late!

Yeah, I think his best performance ever was in Port of Call New Orleans, where he was - not coincidentally - directed by Werner Herzog, one of the greatest living directors.

NA - Personally I recall thinking he was good in both Lord Of War and Leaving Las Vegas. That said, I was like nineteen when I watched both of those, and that was a long time ago; present-me doesn't entirely trust past-me's judgement on such matters.
