I'm mostly annoyed that apparently *everything* that's successful gets a (not initially planned for) sequel/season 2 these days even if one season/movie works as a perfectly fine standalone. (I mean, I know money yadda yadda yadda... I'm not saying it doesn't make any sense, I'm just annoyed by it.)

At the end of the day I only watched the show once, despite loving the book so I'm not super invested and hope the people who want to enjoy it, will enjoy it. Time to block the Good Omen tags on tumblr again, though.

I agree 100%. Annoyed that Edge of Tomorrow is getting a sequel. It doesn't need one, and I think a sequel might retroactively make it worse.

My Dad and I refer to things like this as pulling an 'Under the Dome'. You could tell the moment they found out about the successful ratings because all the sudden they stopped their storyline and threw a bunch of random stuff to draw it out. And consequently ruined it.
