101. Oh god, RITE? Liam was made. of. potential. and they squandered the fuck out of it. Ever read Dreams, Memories & Truths (http://www.t1goold.net/EFC/DMT/) by Trudy A. Goold? It's, like, everything I ever wanted the show to be, where Liam was concerned. I highly rec it. That series has replaced canon for me.

160. Huh. Depends on where you hang out? If you're near CK fangirls, I can see how they'd be very Eliot-centric. Though I guess he kinda has become the little black dress of fic.

That is one of my fave series ever, any fandom let alone EFC. Just wish there were more like it, and that the show had given the characters those depths.

One of the worst things about the later seasons? Sandoval started to become a S2 baddie instead of this complex guy who would have rather died than be re-implanted and looked gob smacked and.... hopeful maybe at the idea of a son and so on so forth.

And that series fixes it. So thanks for the rec, it's been a few months since I read it last so I shall go do so again.

Oh god, don't get me started on Sandoval. Liam isn't the only one whose potential was wasted.

I think I re-read DMT every few months. Definitely one of my favorite fics of ANY fandom, too. Just, guh, everything I ever wanted, right there.

And I just saw I put S2 instead of 2D, sorry.

There were loads of things wrong with it after season one, was going to list them all but that would have taken up too much room. Liam, Sandoval, Augur's betrayal, Da'an's addiction and sudden weakness against Zo'or and his own form of betrayal, Zo'or loosing his own depth, this idea that your biology changes to become more human the longer you are on Earth, Season 5, Lili's fate and who she seem so accepting of it at the end of S3 and.... so much.

But still there is that potential and for all that it isn't terrible, it just isn't genius anymore.

And that fic does have a good amount of that in there fixed.
