The knowledge that the solar system is about to enter into a cosmic shooting gallery of extrasolar debris, chewed up and spat out by some ancient supernova many aeons ago, and that a giant chunk of some other long dead planet or icy object could slam into us at any time, with only weeks or months, warning, or maybe none at all, is oddly comforting to me.

Also, fuck England and its fucking football.
