Yeah. I usually stick to cheap beer since I'm a regular casual drinker (as in I'll have a beer or two after work). When I go out I tend to go for fruity mixed drinks or whiskey depending on if the place has good liquor or not.

And, yes, before you ask, I am from Wisconsin.

nah I get you. If you don't like the taste of beer, as I do not, the culture is harder to navigate. Neat hard liquor seems to be quietly acceptable but fruity drinks, unless you're in a big city, are tagged as gay even though they have more liquor than a beer. Thankfully I'm in Madison where you can be fruity to the max and the cocktails usually benefit from the ol' midwestern free pour.
