Woke up, on my day off, to an unexpected work meeting in half an hour that turned out to be mainly about pointless bullshit that we've all gone over a to n already. With a side helping of "gear up folks there's a ruthless firing-happy higher-up probably making a secret undercover visit to the store soon and also corporate is about to get even more micromanage-y and controlling than they were, because you weren't burned out enough yet after the past year and a half." I have got to get the fuck out of retail. The problem is that there are very very few jobs that will pay me a living wage and also allow me to go to grad school, and I'm at least 2 years out from being done.
