Re: Loki spoilers
(Anonymous) 2021-07-12 05:16 am (UTC)(link)Honestly I was originally hoping I was clocking things right that Loki was setting himself up as someone sibling-like to Sylvie. I remember talking to a friend who much more interesting would it have been if Loki was trying to fill the role of Thor for her considering her whole life was taken from her.
Re: Loki spoilers
(Anonymous) 2021-07-12 07:34 am (UTC)(link)Huh. That's a really interesting idea, and I like it! The way I'd do it, ideally, it would start out with her very much being the one with her shit together and him slowly becoming a better Loki through her presence and influence (among other things). Plus their developing friendship and the whole metaphor for self-love thing. But over time Loki would instinctively, clumsily begin trying to sort of fill the role of Thor for her. So in the end there'd be this arc from Loki who is Bad, to Loki who is a mess and is kind of bad at being Good but is really trying and has made enough progress that he is actually trying to look after her to a degree, despite her being "the superior Loki."
Of course, I really don't think you could do that in six episodes. *grumbles eternally about six episodes being a bullshit length for a so-called "season" of freaking television*
