Found out I am definitely allergic to minocycline (intense full body itch 10 minutes after taking) so now I need to contact a dermatologist about alternatives for my rosacea flareup.

Got eaten alive by mosquitos but enjoyed visiting a nature trail, and working out my joints. Saw cute lizards!

I redid my nails this morning (somehow I broke a nail in my sleep???), went to Starbucks, and watched Tour de France. The landscaping people came by this afternoon and trimmed a bunch of dead branches out of my orange tree and it looks so much better now (I'm so glad I hired pros instead of trying to do it myself). For dinner this evening I'm trying a new Israeli restaurant because I've been craving hummus lately.

My dad came over for a visit so we're hanging out and watching season 3 of Fargo. I'm having a bit of a resurgence of Ewan McGregor love after I rewatched Velvet Goldmine a couple weeks ago.

Yeah, I had it memorized when I was a teen. The music alone is excellent.

I'm watching a National Geographic documentary on Youtube about the Hyatt collapse. I already know a lot about it just from being KC native, but even though the accounts are obviously from survivors I'm on tenterhooks here like "Your legs were WHERE?! How did you survive this! Are you actually a ghost?!"

Started editing the fic after finishing the first draft last night, and ... I think I did it. I think I turned it into something decent, as opposed to a sequence of related scenes.

(And I wrote dialogue which made me tear up twice, which is a record considering I've only ever done that twice before, years apart. Since "you made me cry" figures prominently in the comments I get on some of my more popular fanfic, I think that means I'm on my game for this one. :D)
