It is a Hershey's Gold Peanuts and Pretzels bar.

Have a weakness for Cowtails. I used to share one with my mom from time to time.

Used to love walking to the gas station from my grandma's house to buy a cowtail for a dime.

Yeah, it's a good one.

Never tried those until a few years ago, was surprised to find that they're pretty good!

They're pleasantly chalky!

I love the chewy sour nerds and trolli sour gummies.

I like Horehound hard candies. But they are really hard to find (especially good ones).
And for a while Whoppers had a strawberry milkshake kind that was my absolute favorite.

Atwood's and Hobby Lobby both sell Horehound hard candies if you got one of those near you.

I have never heard of Atwood's but I think there is a Hobby Lobby somewhere in the metro area. Thanks!

Aren't horehound candies super bitter, or is that homemade ones? I made some once and they definitely taste more like the cough drops they were used for than candy.

They are aren't generally super bitter. It's hard to find manufactured ones that have a very strong taste but they are bitter but in the way that blackstrap molasses is bitter.

The "Nectar" flavor of hard candy drops from Public Displays of Confection are absolutely my favorite candy in the world. It's up there in my all-time favorite flavors, period. It's like... a very soft, almost floral honey flavor? It is so good.

I was just tonight wishing I had a way to get some Lindor truffles. Specifically the dark chocolate peppermint. (Or coffee, but those were discontinued. :/)

Reese's cups and KitKats. I'm not big on peanut butter but Reese's really work for me. Milky Way Midnight also have a nice balance of bittersweet dark chocolate and super sweet caramel.

Kit Kats are good broken up in ice cream

I am big on peanut butter and I love Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, though I feel like the holiday ones (like the egg and pumpkin-shaped ones) have a slightly better ratio for me. Now, Reese's Cluster's are moving their way up my favorites list - they are like a combo of peanut butter cup and turtle, peanut butter, caramel, peanuts, and pecans covered with milk chocolate. Unfortunately, they seem to be seasonal.

I also love Milky Way Midnight (just bought a package of minis).

Ever since my sweet-tooth started diminishing on me in my mid-twenties, I've tended to go through phases with candy where I like one or two things and basically nothing else. Right now it's sour gummy Lifesavers and select flavors of Lindor truffles. Weirdly, although I've never been a fan of white chocolate, it's actually the white-chocolate-and-fruit truffles I've been most into lately. Mainly white chocolate and lime, white chocolate and strawberry, and white chocolate and mango.
