A friend of mine sometimes posts memes she found on facebook in the group chat, and one time I replied with I came out to have a good time and I am honestly feeling so attacked right now, which... she did not know, so she reacted rather defensively at my perceived negative reaction and I had to awkwardly explain. Now, when I use a meme that could be in any way misunderstood, I make sure to mention that it's a meme (and that they might not get it, but I'm hilarious, obviously).
