I'm having one of those days where a series of little things going wrong on the same day is making me want to curl up on the floor and become one with the carpet. on the upside I'm getting through my watch later list on youtube (which is also how I found out that the upper limit you can save to watch later is 5000).

So tired. So very tired. Still no sleep last night because for starters even though my bunny is doing so much better than he was Friday, he's still really unsteady so all night I would hear him hop across the room and go "!!!OMG something is wrong he's not hopping right" and instinctively want to get up and make sure he's okay.

Then... okay I haven't had a chance to so much as look at my current in-progress fic for a week, and I've wanted to get back to editing it but can't focus. But when do my muses decide they want to have a (uncharacteristically) sentimental conversation? 1:30am. It hadn't happened for a week and I wasn't sleeping anyway so I put the lights and laptop back on and wrote down what they had for me then.

And that was nice. But it meant I wasn't even close to sleep for even longer.

So. Tired, and at 9 on the pain scale, but I wrote a little and my bunny is more or less able to navigate the room and do his usual bunny things without falling over today.

Drowsy because of the heat. I'm also about 4k behind on my Camp NaNo goal and I'm trying to decide if I want to try and push through all of that to catch up today or break it down over the rest of the week. Either is doable so IDEK.

My husband and I have a room in our house that we've been using for storage since we moved in 20 years ago, and it's full of all kinds of junk so we started cleaning it out yesterday and finished up this afternoon. There's tons of stuff that we're getting rid of: clothes, books, furniture, CDs and VHS tapes, outdated tech stuff, etc. The junk guys are coming to pick it all up Tuesday morning, and when it's finally emptied out we're turning the room into a weight room/exercise studio. I'm excited about it and happy as hell that we're FINALLY getting rid of all. That. Crap.

Is it too much to ask to not be overrun with fucking roaches? Is it really? FFS I feel like I have done EVERYTHING to keep them from coming in. Why are people so fucking gross. Why do apartments suck so bad. Why the fuck are they so poorly constructed. Who the fuck approved this job. Why the fuck can't I find somewhere better to live. I just want to be able to afford a decent home, nothing fancy or big, in a relatively safe neighborhood, where I don't have to look at an ugly fucking goddamn cunting roach every other fucking day. I looked forward to winters so that they temporarily fuck off, but now winters are getting warmer and I can't even relax. So sick of this shit. Not looking forward to the fucking bug guy's attitude again. well excuse me if I am easily traumatized by fucking roaches, so sorry to inconvenience you with my emotions.

I am having a wonderful, air conditioned day. Went to my mom's house so I got to hang with my dog, my friend for the first time in months, and got fed by my mom.

My day has been wonderful! This is the only day off I have this weekend (my boss asked me to trade a day with her and I agreed) so I had to make it count! Yesterday after work I took my partner to a World Whiskey Day thing for our two year anniversary. This morning I drove a friend out to pick up her newly adopted kitties. Then I called my mom and chatted with her and wished my sister a happy birthday, and then I took a nearly three hour nap lolol. And in the midst of all that, I managed to sketch out an absolutely filthy monsterfuckery art thing for an exchange I'm participating in.

Assorted music from the Final Fantasy series because I've been intermittently playing through a multi-FF-game dungeon in one of the mobile games. Some of the music from the Famicom FF2/3 that weren't released over here until like 2000 is really good as originally presented in the games, and I kind of wish they'd stop trying to remix it into grand orchestral pieces because that's not what it was composed to be.

Other than music playing in games I am playing, Pink Floyd's "Your Possible Pasts" has been stuck in my head a lot lately I guess.
