Those trans prisoners are still intact males. They only have to say they're a woman and they're in. Why do you think they're handing out condoms to people who have had the operation. It's because they haven't. So instead of having a seperate trans wing to protect them. They're putting abusers and murderers of women in with women. Abusers who know they only have to say they're women and they're in. Can't you see how fucked up that is? Sure protect trans people but not to the detriment of women. We're not your punching bags.

Do you even know any trans people? It's so telling in these conversations where you have reach for examples like prison (a very commonplace experience, I'm sure) or make believe scenarios like crossdressing bathroom perverts. I'm just cackling at the idea of these TERFs sitting in their houses quaking at the prospect of being predated upon by a vanishingly tiny group of people, population-wise. When, you know, women could be attacked by any number of "known" people in their lives on any given day. How does picking on trans people help cis women, seriously?

NAYRT--yeah, I think I know some trans people, but no one who's out to me and it's not for me to say or do anything except treat them as the gender they say they are/present as.

I'm a cis woman and the worst assault I ever dealt with was from another cis woman, and while it's tempting sometimes to just hide in my house and never come out in case I get sexually harassed and assaulted by cis women, somehow I cope.

The problem with trans women raping cis women in women's prisons might actually be a thing, but there are already laws in place to prosecute rapists.

Rape is bad, shouldn't happen, and does not require that the perpetrator have a penis (or that the victim doesn't.) Barring trans women or even cis male guards and staff from women's prisons won't stop rape.

I won't say luckily because the only kind of luck involving rape is bad, but laws against rape exist. Preemptively banning trans women from women's prisons won't prevent rape and I would bet real money that putting trans women in cis men's prisons will definitely result in more rapes by cis men.

There are a lot of much easier ways for men to get access to women's bathrooms. For instance, carry cleaning equipment or plumbing tools. No-one is going to question a man who looks like a plumber entering a toilet.
