I danced for 15 years in all styles, and the recent Suspiria is the first abstract modern dance piece where the intended meaning of the movements clicked with me right off. Before I would need it spelled out like in SYTYCD or spend a lot of time reading choreographer's comments like with Alvin Ailey.

b!s: both Suspiria's are GREAT! I love them both.
